On Friday 12th August, Harvest’s Managing Director, Richard Strongman, along with his wife Tania, took on a skydive for charity! This was all in aid of Hospitality Action who are a charity close to Team Harvest’s heart.

Hospitality Action have been a registered charity since 1837 and since offered vital assistance to all who work in the industry in the UK. They are there for the chefs, waiters, housekeepers, and managers, the concierges, the kitchen porters, the sommeliers – anyone who needs help. Whether this be physical or mental health issues, financial difficulties, family issues or addiction, you know you can rely on Hospitality Action when times get tough.

Richard bravely took on the jump in Salisbury from 15,000 feet, freefalling for 60 seconds, along with his instructor, Chris. This is the highest tandem height in the UK that you can do, where speeds of 125mph are met!

Richard says, ‘Thank you to every who kindly sponsored me and helped to raise funds for Hospitality Action.’

During the jump Richard was filmed – and you can watch the video of the jump using this link.
