Finance Team Apprentice

We are a second generation family run business based in Totton, Southampton and a leading specialist supplier of ambient, chilled and frozen foods to the Hospitality, Healthcare and Education sector.

We are looking for a hard working, passionate person to join our Finance team and to study for a Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship, with a view to moving on to study for an AAT accounting qualification.

As an apprentice you will work in our business 4 days a week gaining valuable experience through working in a vibrant and busy finance environment alongside experienced team members, and for the other day a week you will attend college to study for your qualification.

You will need to have a minimum of Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent and you will also need to:

  • Have a passion for getting things right and an attention for detail
  • Strong communication skills, written and speaking with a good telephone manner
  • Be willing to learn new things

Hours for the role are 42.5 hours per week and the rate of pay will be based on the successful candidates age and the Governments minimum rates of pay for Apprentices.

Warehouse Night Pickers

Salary: £9.72 per hour including bonus

LOCATION: Totton, Southampton

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (excluding 30 minute lunch break)

THE COMPANY:

We have also recently started a home delivery business which is now a core part of our offering. Our product range is extensive and includes high quality butchery, chilled, frozen, ambient and fresh food as well as a range of non food sundries and beverages.

Due to our rapid growth we are now looking to recruit several night time order pickers.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Night Warehouse Manager your role will be pick our customer’s order and pack them in a suitable way to prepare for loading. This role will involve working in both a chiller, freezer and ambient area of the warehouse. All suitable Protective clothing and equipment will be provided.


THE CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate will have a passion for getting things right and give care and attention to make sure they are accurate in their work.

You will be flexible in your approach as working days and hours my vary slightly.

This role involves lifting and manual handling and candidates should be prepared for the physical nature of this job.

Night Shift Administrator

Salary: £19,250

LOCATION: Totton, Southampton

Hours: Sunday to Thursday 9pm – 5.30am, 40 hours per week (excluding 30 minute lunch break)

Due to our rapid growth we are now looking to recruit a Night Time Administrator.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Night Warehouse Manager your role will be support the night team with various administration duties to include preparation of pick notes, confirmation of weighted goods, producing KPIS’s as well as various other tasks.


THE CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate will have a passion for getting things right and give care and attention to make sure they are accurate in their work.

The successful candidate needs to have reasonable IT skills and a willingness to learn our bespoke IT system. A good working knowledge of excel would be an advantage.

7.5T Delivery Driver

Salary: £25,000

LOCATION: Totton, Southampton

Hours: 48 hours per week

We have also recently started a home delivery business which is now a core part of our offering. Our product range is extensive and includes high quality butchery, chilled, frozen, ambient and fresh food as well as a range of non food sundries and beverages.

Due to our rapid growth we are now looking to recruit several 7.5T Lorry Drivers.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Transport Manager your role will be to make multi drop deliveries to our customers across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and surrounding areas. You will be on a regular run with a regular set of customers that you will deliver to. You must hold a suitable licence to drive a 7.5T vehicle and also hold a valid CPC card. Any applications with out these will not be considered. All suitable Protective clothing and equipment will be provided.  This role involves early starts around 4 or 5am but the benefit of that is an early finish in the afternoon.


THE CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate will have a passion for getting things right and give care and attention to make sure they are accurate in their work. You will love giving great service to customers and you will understand that the job is about building relationships with customers and having a positive attitude to customer service as much as it is making a delivery.

You must hold a valid driving licence to drive a 7.5T Lorry and you must also hold a valid CPC card.

You will be flexible in your approach as working days and hours my vary slightly.  Some shifts will include working weekends.
