Our Passion for Great Food
Since the day we first opened our doors in 1988, our passion has been to deliver fantastic local produce, great variety and real value, all ethically sourced. Since those early days we have expanded our range of food and non-food products significantly, but our early passion and ethos is unchanged!
WE TRY WHAT WE BUY
Our kitchen at Harvest is a busy and popular place. Our chef cooks food and ingredients from our entire range. There are always plenty of willing tasters. It’s a chance to try and test products and whilst some products end up rejected, others move mouth-wateringly forward into our range.

At Harvest we prides ourselves in supporting local growers and businesses of all sizes. We enjoy strong, long-standing relationships with our customers and trading partners. Our focus is always to listen and to shape our service to deliver real efficiency and flexibility. We provide everything you need from ethical and sustainable sources. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, delivering proven quality and service to over 1000 customers across Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Wiltshire and Surrey.
We are committed to protecting the environment, and supporting our local community and our fantastic team of employees. All of our waste streams are segregated, compacted and recycled. Waste from our fresh produce and prepared vegetable department goes to a local pig farm. We use LED lighting and state-of-the-art refrigeration to reduce electricity consumption. Using ‘route optimisation software’ we try to minimise the mileage covered when making our deliveries.
