Loosehanger Cheeses

 

At their small dairy on the northern edge of the New Forest, Gwyn and Ness Williams have developed an award-winning range of original cheeses that capture the flavour and characteristics of the pure Ayrshire Cows Milk. The milk is derived from a single herd of traditionally managed Ayrshire Cows at the Ody family farm, Wooton, St. Lawrence.

The Ayrshire Cows milk cheeses are supple and silky-textured with small, scattered holes. Its delicate flavour will vary slightly through the seasons but is always light & creamy. This is the basis of the entire range and was a Silver medal winner at the 2006 British Cheese Awards.

All cheeses listed are pasteurised except for Hampshire Rose Unpasteurised and all the cheese use vegetarian rennet. The last two cheeses in the list are made from goat’s milk.
